The Mileştii Mici, joint stock company, Moldcell, Artmet, Tricon, Zorile, Orhei-Vit, Viorica Cosmetic, Ecofin Audit Service limited company, Keramin Chişinău, Rusnac-MoldAqua Codru hotel complex became winners of all three contests of the 2007 Business Year. They were called the best taxpayers, holders of the Trademark of the Year and State Quality Prize winners.

Eleven economic entities won two contests. These are Efes Vitanta Moldova Brewery, CMC Knauf, Avicila-Nord, Poşta Moldovei, Moldpresa, Polimobil, Moldabela, Moltelecom, Eximbank CruppoVeneto Banca, Cricova winery and the Jolly Alon hotel.

The results of the contests were announced on Friday in the frame of the VII Made in Moldova exhibition.

92 economic entities won the title of the Best Taxpayer of the Year 2007 (they transferred 1.55 billion lei to the budget). One of the winners is Moldtelecom, which won this title for the sixth successive year, four economic entities - Lusmecon, Apă Bună, Bogatmos and Cărpeni – for the fifth successive year, 16 economic entities – for the fourth successive year, 20 – for the third successive year, 22 – for the second successive year and 26 – for the first time.

Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin congratulated the winners and remarked, though the year 2007 was a hard year, it allowed to overcome difficulties and to reduce losses, both from drought and external factors.

Lion Gri is one of the leading companies in Moldova – it bottles more than 20 million bottles a year. It has five primary winemaking enterprises and an up-to-date production for the bottling and storage in Chisinau. The company produces sparkling wines according to the traditional French technology. It has big cellars near Chisinau, where wines are stored from 2000. The assets of the company are valued at 40 million euros.  // Infotag
