Premier Tarlev was dissatisfied by the “extremely bureaucratic” way of working of “lower level” public servants
Premier Vasile Tarlev was dissatisfied that although the Land Relations and Cadastre Agency carried out last year cadastral works for 30,000 farmlands, no owner received the document confirming the right to property.
Tarlev criticized the “extremely bureaucratic” way of working of the “lower level” clerks, “who are creating the biggest problems” and “affect the image of the Government”. Tarlev noted these things during the sitting of the Executive on Wednesday, February 13, during which they focused on the activity results of the cadastre agency in 2007. According to the summary activity report for 2007, the Agency spend 102.7 mln lei from the state budget, of which 27 mln for soil protection works nearby the railway Cahul-Giurgiulesti, other 5.2 mln lei were spent for state border demarcation works. In 2007 cadastre specialists also inform that they corrected 190.7 thousand errors committed in the Land Programme, registered 200,000 living houses in the cadastre system, and evaluated 28.7 thousand of commercial and industrial buildings, over 45.5 thousand garages and 43.7 farmlands belonging to agricultural associations. Following the hearing of the activity report for the last year, the Government asked the Cadastre Agency to submit by 1 March 2008 proposals on finishing the Register of territorial-administrative units and streets of Moldova. // BASA-Press Publication date: 16 February 2008 Source: Archive ADsRelated links- Premier Vasile Tarlev resigns - Future Prime Minister should be one of the current members of the Government - Premier Tarlev pronounced in favor of reforming Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry - Premier Tarlev: asymmetric trade system is an extraordinary chance for Moldovan economy Latest news
