Termocom calls upon Chisinau authorities for increasing heating tariffs
The Termocom Joint Stock Company has selected a new strategy in its relations with the Chisinau authorities ant it will be applying it until the local administration does not repay all its debts and fix new heating tariffs.
The Termocom press release says that the Termocom administration passes again a set of documents, containing the calculations of new heating tariffs and data on the enterprise’s activities for 2007. Though these calculations were committed to the municipality as far back, as on November 27, 200, this issue has not been considered until the present moment and municipal representatives continue demanding various additional certificates and data on tariffs and the enterprise’s activities. The Termocom administration refuses to submit extra data and to participate in the municipality’s sittings until the approval of the new tariff. In the nearest time the Termocom will begin consultations on the normalization of the situation with representatives of factions, excluding the Liberal Party faction, in the Chisinau Municipal Council. The enterprise will also recur to judicial instances. “The Termocom administration and its trade union committee hope that the public opinion and the municipal council members’ opinions will help to settle this “abnormal” situation, in which consumers and the enterprise found themselves and from which all the sides suffer. // Infotag Publication date: 28 February 2008 Source: Archive ADsRelated links- Termocom won process initiated against Municipal Council of Chisinau - Termocom Company requiring procedure of new tariff approval for thermal energy to be urged - Termocom resumes hot water supply - Termocom resumes hot water supply Latest news
