After the massive protests of small entrepreneurs, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce accepts some proposals of brevet owners
The entrepreneurs who sell their goods on stalls and counters from authorized marked will continue working on brevets. This is the decision the Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) came to after the negotiations kept so far with a representative group formed of 20 brevet owners from several districts of the republic, DECA-press transmits.
According to a press release issued by MEC, the commercialization on the basis of brevets will be permitted in case of some definite groups of goods, which have been previously included in the list of goods which are permitted to be sold by enterprises only. These are: wooly goods, newspapers, books, school supplies, perfumes without excise, fresh fruits and vegetables, etc. At the same time, the parts decided at the negotiations that the payment for brevets will be given each quarter, and the taxes for medical and social insurance will be paid annually. On the other hand, MEC rejected the proposals regarding the activity on the basis of brevets in booths, as well as the commercialization of electric technologies without the registration of enterprises. The idea of brevet owners in term of prolonging until 2017 of the term of legality of the commercia activity on the basis of brevets hasn't been rejected yet and it hasn't been accepted as well. According to MEC, this proposal is still going to be examined. The prohibition of commercialization on brevets of some groups of goods in markets caused protests both in Chisinau and Balti, as well as in several districts of the republic. // DECA-Press Publication date: 28 February 2008 Source: Archive ADsRelated links- Small entrepreneurs from Balti issue demands of social character - Several actions of protests will be organized by small entrepreneurs in Chisinau in the following two months - The protests of small entrepreneurs from Balti damaged the „Association of Markets” with over a quarter of a million lei - Small entrepreneurs from Balti start mass actions of protest - In Floresti, more than half of small entrepreneurs will have the right to work one more year without registering individual enterprises - Small entrepreneurs from Balti threaten with great protests - The sitting of the Municipal Council of Balti was held under closed doors for more than one hour - Survey: Execs wary of entrepreneurship Latest news
